Meet Your Counselors

Cindy Osborn

Cindy Osborn

I’m the school counselor for Halls - Bear, Coyote, Falcon, and Cougar 1.  This will be my seventh year at ITIS and I’m very excited to get to know each one of you.  I‘ve lived in Johnson City most of my life and love the community!  I’m a Science Hill graduate and love to go to school sporting events to cheer for the TOPPERS!  I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from ETSU and then my Educator Specialist in School Counseling from the University of Georgia – GO BULLDOGS!  Prior to Indian Trail, I worked outside of Atlanta as Elementary School Counselor for 6 years before returning home to Johnson City.   I love running, hiking, zip lining & whitewater rafting – really anything outside.  However, the greatest joy in my life is spending time with my two girls, Maya and Addison.  Please feel free to contact me at any time, I’m here to support the students and families at Indian Trail.

Garrett McDonald

My name is Garrett McDonald! I am the counselor of Red Fox 1 and 2, Mustang 1 and 2, Raptor, and Hawks Academy! This is my fourth year at Indian Trail and fifth year as a school counselor. I am also the 7th-grade basketball coach at Liberty Bell Middle School. I have been living in Johnson City since 2014. I grew up in Detroit, Alabama, and moved two hours northwest to Henderson, Tennessee where I received my B.S. in Special Education from Freed-Hardeman University. Following graduation, I married my (Johnson City Native) wife and we moved here where I began my M.S. in Counseling from Milligan College and completed in 2016. I enjoy exercising, basketball, football, the University of Alabama, and spending time with my wife and 2 sons!
